Michelle Jung (b. 1964) is an artist member of the historic Salmagundi Club, Guild of Boston Artists and the California Art Club. She maintains studios in suburban Boston, Massachusetts and Santa Cruz, California. Jung has her Bachelors of Art Degree in Art History from Colorado State University, and a Masters in Fine Art in Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Within a short time of exhibiting, Jung has won several national awards and has exhibited at notable museums including the Autry Museum and the Frederick R. Weisman Museum. In fall 2016, Jung begins a two-year exhibition of six museums as a juried member of the American Society of Marine Artists. Jung paints full time en plein air and in studio utilizing her classical training for a variety of subject matters including seascapes, landscapes, still life and portraits.
